I don't start with a template and figure out how to squeeze your business into it. I start with what you do, who you're trying to reach, and what your website needs to accomplish.
You'll work directly with me. I'm the person designing your website, writing the code, and getting everything online. No account managers or elaborate handoffs.
I care about typography, layouts, colors, and the details that make a website memorable. I also care about navigation that makes sense and visitors knowing exactly where to go.

My background is in computer science, but I've always been drawn to the creative side of technology. Web design gives me the opportunity to work on both.

I'll give you a realistic timeline before we start, so you know what to expect.
Yes. Your domain, content, accounts, and access belong to you. You're not locked into working with me.
Yes. I can help organize your content, refine the messaging, and make sure everything fits together. More extensive copywriting can be included in the project.
Absolutely. If you need to make frequent changes, I can build a content management system around the parts of the website you want to control for an additional cost.
If changes are only occasional, you might not need one.
Yes. I can work with your existing branding and content, but I generally prefer rebuilding a site rather than trying to work around an old theme.
You can take over the website yourself or have me look after it.
I offer optional Website Care for managed hosting (up to 20,000 visits per month), technical and security updates, uptime and form monitoring, basic text and image updates, and direct support. The current plan is $99 per month.
